Beautiful Poison

Oh...and their roots and bulb are poisonous...but there is a part you can eat...i just don't remember....so I'm not about to go try it.

But goddess I love these flowers, it makes me sad they're so shortlived. I look forward to every autumnal equinox to see these.

Eventually, when I have my own house, I'm gonna have a yard full of these...just a blanket of red.
